At Greenhouse Ministries, we have had the opportunity to get more involved in TNOTA. At first, I was slightly intimidated about holding a leadership position in our state association. I had never been on a conference call with TNOTA or connected with them in any way, so I did not know what to expect. During this rotation, Joe invited me to be on the mental health committee of TNOTA. As a committee member, I listened in on conference calls, and I attended the middle district meeting. At the meeting, I had the opportunity to present about trauma informed practice. I am now the vice chair of the mental health committee, and I plan to continue my leadership when I become a licensed practitioner.
