At my first Level II Fieldwork, my fieldwork educator and I would fill out a strengths and growth areas work sheet. At the end of each week, we would discuss progress on my goals, and what I needed to work on for the following week. By using the feedback sheets, I was able to recognize my strengths and create opportunities to practice my growth areas. For example, at the beginning of the rotation, one of my growth areas was transferring clients who required maximum assistance. My fieldwork educator and I purposely selected clients who required a lot of assistance to be on my caseload, so I could achieve my goal. This method continued throughout the whole twelve weeks, and I feel like it was a great way to grow in my areas of weakness.
